| Fabulous house and great hospitality from Ray & Audrey. We had a lovely week and the children loved the pool & barn giving us time to unwind. Recommend a visit to Pompadour horse racing for all the family. Great holiday! |

| This is our first time here and our first few words were mainly expletives & superlatives! What a fantastic house and gardens!! We've had a fantastic week. The kids adored the sandpit & swings & toy lawnmower & wheelbarrow. Our order for nice weather was only listened to on one day but that was enough but it was much better than the flooding in the UK!! Chateau Jumilhac was impressive from the outside but a little disappointing on the inside. Our advice - give the gardens a miss!! The market in Thiviers was full of local produce. Brantome was very pretty & it was entertaining watching the canoes attempt to conquer the weir. The lake, with beach at Bussiere-Galant was great but out of season (opens 1 July - 3131 Aug) Perigeux is also definitely worth a visit - it took us 45mins from here. We're already planning our next trip. Thanks Ray & Audrey & Nicola for your hospitality & Good Luck Lisa & Gary & Ester with whatever you decide!! |

| What a fabulous place to stay - we love your home! Thankyou so much Ray for keeping the pool so pleasant despite the poor weather for our entire second week. Beth was happy with all the toys .... & if she's happy, we are happy. Loved our visits to Oradour (very moving); Chateau Montbrun (& La Taverne!); Brantome (very pretty); a fantastic medieval fete at Lastours & and some fantastic meals at "Les Voyageurs" in La Coquille - an absolute MUST! not to mention many "cheeky coffees" at the local bar in Firbeix or "Laurence d'Arabie" in Chalus centre. And ... go no further than Firbeix boulangerie for breakfasts, pastries, cakes etc - simply gorgeous. We'd love to come back when Beth is a toddler as this is a fabulous place for children. Good luck with further renovations - love the idea of wheelchair access in the accomodation. Many thanks Ray & Audrey from all of us. |

| Fantastic holiday for the 2nd time. Liked it so much we came back again and brought all our friends and their children! Thankyou Ray & Audrey & Nicola for making us all welcome. No mean feat as there was 14 of us. Shame weather wasn't always wonderful but still managed a few days by the pool and going home with tans! :-) Hopefully see you again next year. Lots of love |
| I really enjoyed my holidays. Playing in the pool was my favourite. I also enjoyed the swings. The Grotte de Villars are well worth a visit |
